Sabah police: it's all under control

May 16, 2017

Sabah police have assured security across the state remains under control, after a labourer reported spotting armed men near Lahad Datu.

The illegal Filipino lodged a police report 2 days ago, claiming he came across 5 men in military fatigues at a plantation last month.

The police confirmed receiving the report, adding they're investigating the claims.

In February 2013, an armed group of Sulu fighters intruded upon Lahad Datu, triggering a massive military operation.
