74 percent of the 253 abandoned housing projects in the peninsula were revived between 2009 and April this year, with government funds amounting to 250 million ringgit.
The projects involved 50 thousand housing units and 34 thousand buyers.
The Urban well-being, Housing and Local Government Ministry is also taking preliminary steps to rehabilitate the remaining projects, so that all of them are fully completed.
