There have been no new rabies cases in Malaysia.

Jul 21, 2017

There have been no new rabies cases in Malaysia.

The Health Ministry says the number remains at 5, and the situation is under control.

The suspected case in Melaka has tested negative, while the 2 girls bitten in Perak are showing no signs of rabies.

However, the authorities will continue inspecting stray dogs and licensed pets to curb the spread of the disease.
