Close to 11 K students have registered their businesses for free under the 1Student 1Business Registration schemesince Jan.

A total of 10,620 students from both public and private institutions of higher learning (IPT) have registered their businesses for free under the 1Student 1Business Registration scheme since January this year.

Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) chief executive officer Datuk Zahrah Abd Wahab Fenner said the numbers were expected to increase from time to time following the ongoing promotions organised by relevant agencies throughout the country.
