7 out of 10 children in Malaysia worry about bullying !

Nov 20, 2017

7 out of 10 children in Malaysia worry about bullying, compared to only 3 out of 10 in Japan and 4 out of 10 in the UK.

Unicef says M'sian children are also worried about other global issues such as terrorism and violence against children.

The Home Ministry believes strengthening the family unit will help stop social ills, but parents should also put aside the embarassment and report incidences of bullying.

About 2,300 bullying cases were reported nationwide between 2012 and this June.
