Nothing to worry about MH370 search vessel going off radar

Feb 08, 2018

Seabed Constructor - the ship searching for MH 370 - is under fire for disappearing off the radar for 3 days, but the Transport Minister says it's nothing to worry about.

Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai says there are 2 government officials onboard the vessel sending daily updates to Malaysia.

He clarified the ship was within its rights to turn off its transponder.

Right now, Seabed Constructor is enroute to Australia to refuel - it has about another 10 weeks to find missing MH370 or the company won't be paid.
