PKR vice president Tian Chua's nomination has been rejected by the Election Commission, due to a 2013 court case, leaving 4 candidates to contest for the Batu parliamentary seat. 

Ibrahim Mat Zin, better known as Raja Bomoh, will not be contesting the Bagan Datuk parliamentary seat as planned, because he's bankrupt.

BN's candidate for the Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary seat Adnan Abu Seman had a moment of panic when he forgot to bring his candidacy appointment letter.

However, he managed to submit his nomination, just before the deadline. 

Meanwhile, Wangsa Maju PKR candidate Datin Paduka Dr Tan Yee Kew forgot to bring her MyKad, but also sorted this out before the deadline.
