Anti-Fake News Bill not a tactic to win the election

The Anti-Fake News law is not the government's strategy to win GE14, but put in place to protect the rakyat!

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said says the newly gazetted law will help remove fake news from social media platforms.

But the awareness of the new law doesn't seem to have caught on yet.

Permatang Pauh UMNO's division chief had to lodge a police report after his posters about a giveaway of spectacles, were doctored to look like an undergarment giveaway.
