1MDB Investigations: former Malaysian AG denies that he refused to cooperate with Switzerland's AG

The former Attorney General has denied he refused to cooperate with the Switzerland AG in 1MDB investigations. 

In response to the Swiss AG's claims, Tan Sri Apandi Ali said he met Michael Lauber twice in Switzerland.

He also explained that he refused give more details to the Swiss in 2016 because the 1MDB case was still under police investigation at the time.

Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos's legal team will try to get the controversial politician out on bail, pending his trial for escaping from police custody.

The Sungai Besar Umno chief was denied bail on grounds that he's a serious flight risk.

Meanwhile Jamal has pleaded guilty to a charge of public nuisance, by smashing beer bottles in front of the Selangor state secretariat building last year.

He was fined 400 ringgit. 

Police confirm report received two years ago.

Police have confirmed that they received a report of child abuse involving the 10-year-old boy who died in Kuantan last Monday, two years ago.

The cops says they had completed the investigation paper on the case back then, but no prosecution was made due to lack of evidence

It was reported yesterday that the victim was believed to have been abused by his mother.
