The govt will review Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik's appointment as IIUM president.

This, after an academic group slammed his appointment saying it goes against the govt's commitment to put an end to political appointments in public universities.

Just a few weeks ago, Maszlee himself terminated the services of 5 public universities chairmen, deemed to be BN’s political appointees.

Results out next Thursday !

The 2018 SPM Resit results will be out next Thursday.

The Education Ministry says candidates will be informed of their results via post.

Malaysians in Japan, especially in quake-hit Hokkaido, have been advised to remain alert.

And, 1 in 3 college students in South Korea have been forced to drink alcohol.

According to a survey by the Korean Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, about 31 percent out of 5 thousand students say its because of peer pressure.

The survey, which was coducted between May 2017 and Jan this year, suggests that unwanted drinking remains a problem on college campuses there.
