This, after a 4-year-old girl fell to her death from the 17th floor of a PPR flat in Kota Damansara yesterday, while no one was at home.

The Ministry is now looking at setting up a support system in these flats, where parents who are at home will be given incentives to help look after their neighbours’ kids.

The programme is expected to be introduced by the end of this month.

MOT considering increasing the number of flights between the peninsular and Sarawak 

The Transport Ministry is considering increasing the number of flights between the peninsular and Sarawak during festive seasons, so that more Sarawakians can afford to fly home.

It says this will be more effective to keep average air fares low, compared to imposing a ceiling price.

It is looking at increasing the number of flights during Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Gawai.

And, a painting by British artist David Hockney is set to become the most expensive work by a living artist to ever be sold at auction.

The painting is estimated to be worth 80 million dollars, about 22 million more than the current record.
