Tun M: I'm not a miracle worker !

The PM says he's not a miracle worker, and urged people to temper their expectations after Pakatan Harapan took power.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad adds, he's not bothered by people who accused him of flip-flopping on a number of election issues, such as the removal of toll plazas. 

He says those election promises had to be changed once PH discovered the true situation about the country's finances. 

KBS to launch a new specialised programme for youths

The Youth and Sports Ministry plans to launch a new specialised programme for youths, to replace the scrapped National Service training and BTN programmes.

The Ministry says it's working with Khazanah Nasional and other parties to create an intensive programme, that's aimed at creating multi-talented youth leaders. 

It also assured that the programme will NOT include any political indoctrination, unlike BTN. 

In other news:

The Housing and Local Govt Ministry says it will study if SOPs were violated, at the construction site of a road along landslide-hit Jalan Bukit Kukus in Penang. 

It says it will receive a report on the matter next week. 

So far, 9 bodies have been recovered from the landslide.

And US president Donald Trump says the US will increase its nuclear arsenal.

This comes days after he pulled out of a Cold War nuclear treaty with Russia, after he accused Moscow of violating the deal.
