The pilot project, which will involve programs like turning food waste into compost, will start with schools in Johor's Simpang Renggam disctrict before being expanded nationwide.

Separately, the Ministry is warning that any teachers or school staff found to be involved in sexual misconduct cases face stern action, as it has a zero-tolerance approach to such matters.

The comments come following last week's case in Kepala Batas, where a school principal was remanded for allegedly sodomizing two students.

And, the Penang government wants more done to address flooding at the Penang International Airport.

This, after the airport was hit by a flash flood due to heavy rain yesterday, with ankle-deep water reported at the departure hall for turbo-prop aircraft.

And, two Australian police officers have been praised by netizens, for rescuing a drowning kangaroo just outside Melbourne.

The two even performed chest compressions on the animal to revive it, in an incident that has since gone viral online.
