SPAD investigates distracted bus driver

The Land Public Transport Commission has begun investigating an express bus driver who was caught on camera being distracted while driving.

SPAD has collected evidence in the form of photos and videos taken by a passenger, showing the driver using his phone and smoking while on the wheel.

It has also taken statements from the director of the express bus company, the driver and the complainant.

The issue went viral on social media after a passenger posted photos and 2 videos of the incident, which happened on a journey from KL to Johor.
