RELA Shotgun Theft: Govt to crack down on weapons management system

The Home Ministry will crack down on the weapons management system of some of the security agencies under its purview.

This, after dozens of shotguns were found to have been stolen from the Volunteer Department of M"sia, RELA.

The police have clarified that 26 shotguns went missing, as opposed to the 44 initially reported.

11 of the missing firearms have been found and 12 people have been arrested, while the cops are tracking down the remaining shotguns and more suspects.
