Cikgu Azizan case to be resolved by new school year

The Education Ministry hopes to resolve the Cikgu Azizan case before the start of the new school session.

It also hopes to arrange a meeting between the teacher and the family of the boy he slapped as soon as possible.

It has met with both parties separately and both are traumatized, with the family of the 11-year-old even receiving death threats on social media.

The government has asked for people to stop commenting on the case and give all parties involved some space.
