Kedah students suffer from food poisoning

Over 70 pupils at a school in Sungai Petani, Kedah came down with suspected food poisoning over the weekend, after eating ‘nasi lemak’ with chicken.

The meal was ordered from a caterer, and was served at a school cross-country run to students from Standard 3 to 6. 

The children were reported to have suffered from vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain at about 10 am yesterday.

Authorities are currently looking into the cause of the food poisoning.
