Trump appoints son-in-law as top White House advisor
Jan 10, 2017
US president-elect, Donald Trump has appointed son-in-law, Jared Kushner as a top White House advisor, despite nepotism laws.
Trump's team has argued the nepotism law, barring officials from giving government jobs to relatives, does not apply to White House positions.
Meanwhile, Kushner will reportedly be withdrawing his participation in a wide range of businesses he is invested in, as he takes on his govt role.
