Mar 17, 2017

The 19-year-old woman who caused Tuesday's fatal accident along the North South Expressway in Penang, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of drug abuse.

The part-time model had tested positive for amphetamines after the accident, where she drove against the flow of traffic, causing a multi-car collission which killed one person.

The teenager is also under investigation under the Road Transport Act for reckless driving.

She's been granted 5 thousand ringgit bail, with the case set for mention on May 12th.

Meanwhile, Penang police have confirmed earlier reports, that she has a Welfare Department disability card, due to a learning disability.
