Soon-to-be-tabled Domestic Violence Act will protect male victims

The Women, Family, and Community Development Ministry assures that the soon-to-be-tabled Domestic Violence Act will also include provisions to protect male victims.

Police figures show a rising number of domestic violence cases against men, with many cases also going unreported because of shame or social stigma.

The Act will be tabled before the current session of Parliament ends next month.
