Couple being investigated over daughter's death

Indian police are investigating a couple, whose 13-year-old daughter died after a 68-day religious fast.

The couple has denied allegations that they forced their daughter to fast, maintaining it was voluntary.

However, an activist claims the father forced the daughter to survive on plain boiled water for 68-days because he was told it would make his business more profitable.
