Malaysian youths rescued by Thai police arrive home

Jan 21, 2018

3 Malaysian youths, who were rescued by Thai police from being forced to work for a 'Macau Scam' ring in Bangkok in October, have arrived home.

However, the trio have been picked up by Malaysian police upon their arrival at KLIA, to be questioned about what happened.

The victims, who reportedly found their jobs in Thailand through a Facebook posting, had their passports and handphones seized by the syndicate involved.

3 other Malaysians, who were arrested in Thailand over the case, are still being detained as court witnesses.
