Immigration Department never banned non-citizen children from entering school
Jan 12, 2018
The Immigration Department has never banned non-citizen children from entering school.
It clarified, the kids can attend school as long as their parents or guardians can produce all documents required by the Education Ministry.
It released the statement to address the issue of G.Darshana, the 7-year-old adopted daughter of Malaysian parents, who was not allowed to attend school in Seremban.
The Education Ministry, however, has given her a special pass to enter Year One.
