Floods in Kelantan are getting worse and it's only about to go downhill from here.

Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang burst its banks yesterday, and state authorities have warned residents in the area that water levels will rise further, up to 10 metres.

Another 700 people were evacuated last night.

Waters are also rising in Terengganu, with more people evacuated overnight.

There is a severe weather warning in effect over the 2 states, until tommorrow.
