Bridge in Kelantan closed to all vehicles

The temporary bridge across Sungai Nenggiri in Gua Musang, Kelantan has been closed to all vehicles using the Jalan Gua Musang-Jeli route.

The Public Works Department says the bridge poses a danger, because one of its support pillars has been swept away by strong currents.

This, as Gua Musang is among the 6 districts hit by floods in Kelantan.

Over in Perak, a 17 kilometer-long stretch of road between Batu 3 and Batu 10 in Manjung has been closed to all traffic.

This, following serious soil erosion caused by continuous rain since Wednesday.

The police say until the road is reopened on December 21st, motorists should use the alternative of Jalan Simpang Batu-Beruas-Ayer Tawar.

Manjung has been the worst hit by the floods in Perak.
