Malaysia win gold in javelin throw

Sep 18, 2017

Malaysia have won another gold medal at the ASEAN Para Games, through Faridul Masri in a men's Javelin Throw event.

Earlier, national paralympic star Siti Noor Radiah nabbed Malaysia's first gold in athletics, by winning the women's T20 long jump.

Her event's silver also went to Malaysia, while the national team also nabbed a gold and silver in a men's 100 meter event.

However, Felicia Mikat has failed to defend her gold in the women's 100 meter T13 event, after finishing 3rd to take the bronze.

Malaysia now have 10 gold, 12 silver and 5 bronze, to sit 2nd in the medals tally behind Indonesia, who won 18 gold today.
