Two Myanmar squash players withdraw from SEA Games

Aug 21, 2017

2 Myanmar squash players have withdrawn from the SEA Games, after suffering whiplash injuries in an accident this morning.

SEA Games organisers say the injuries are not serious, but they are not ready to play.

In the incident, 2 buses carrying 28 players from Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand collided while on their way to the National Squash Center.

This morning's squash matches were suspended due to the incident, but the matches in the evening resumed, while tomorrow's matches have been pushed back an hour.
