Irfan wins Malaysia's first gold in athletics at KL SEA Games

Irfan Shamshuddin has won Malaysia's first gold medal in athletics at the KL SEA Games.
He defended his title in the men's discus throw event with a throw of 58.36 meters.
Fellow Malaysian Abdul Rahman Lee nabbed the bronze, with the silver going to Thailand.
Meanwhile, national sprint king Khairul Hafiz Jantan has advanced to the final of the men's 100 meter event.
He won his semi final with a time of 10.34 seconds.
Joining Khairul in the final tonight is Jonathan Nyepa.
This, as Zaidatul Husniah and Siti Fatima progressed to the final of the women's 100 meters event, which also takes place tonight.
