62 cases registered with Special Court For Sexual Crimes Against Children

Jul 31, 2017

62 cases have been registered with the Special Court For Sexual Crimes Against Children, since it started operations earlier this month.

Of the total, 11 cases have been solved, 25 are being mentioned, while 26 are still on trial.

All cases registered at the Putrajaya-based court must be solved or disposed off within a year of registration.

Meanwhile, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman says the government is also looking at expanding the special court to every state.
