Malaysia has over RM20 bil worth of unsold houses nationwide.

Zuraida Kamaruddin says 73 per cent of the unsold homes are categorised as affordable homes and priced below RM250,000.

She adds, the government is planning to introduce programmes next year to better promote the sale of these houses.

Also, the government will waive legal fees and increase the loan repayment time for first-time home buyers.

He says so far there is no directive to reinvestigate Teoh's death.

The 30-year-old political aide fell to his death from the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam, nine years ago, after giving a statement to the MACC in that building.
