The Prime Minister believes Vision 2020 is as good as gone.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Malaysia can still become a fully developed nation, but it may only happen by 2025, and we will need the help of Malaysian elites who've chosen to work and live abroad.

He also urged those studying in foreign countries to return home after they graduate and help build our country.

Speaking on a working visit to China, Tun Dr Mahathir also reassured Chinese companies that they are welcome in Malaysia.

Separately, Tun M says he's keen to develop durian as a major commodity for Malaysia.

He thinks it's doable, if the durian market is developed systematically and on a large scale like rubber and oil palm.

The federal government will not charge customers who request for a plastic bag, as it wants to eradicate it completely.
