AG's Chambers to review ongoing sedition cases
Jul 13, 2018
The Attorney-General's Chambers will review ongoing sedition cases.
A deputy public prosecutor told the Malay Mail it will be done on a case-by-case basis.
Anyone facing such charges will have to apply to the AG's Chambers for a review, and prosecutors will decide whether to drop the case or continue with it.
Pakatan Harapan promised in its GE14 manifesto to abolish draconian laws, including the Sedition Act.
