Parliament convenes
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has officially opened the first session of the 14th Parliament.
In his address, His Majesty praised the new administation's openness, especially with regards to the country's finances, while he also hailed the initiative to abolish GST.
His Majesty also joked about yesterday's walkout among opposition MPs.
Do not discriminate the LGBT community

Islamic Affairs Minister Datuk Dr. Mujahid Yusof Rawa says the LGBT community should not be discriminated against at the workplace, based on their sexual orientation.
This, following the uproar over the resignation of Numan Afifi as an interim aide to the Youth and Sports Minister.

Numan, an LGBT activist stepped down after he was heavily criticised by Islamic groups.
So far, Mujahid says there's no evidence that Numan was forced to resign over the matter.
Jho Low's yacht seized for the second time

Malaysiakini says Indonesian authorities have re-seized Jho Low's superyacht, Equanimity, which was allegedly bought using misappropriated 1MDB funds.
It was first seized in February.
However, an Indonesian court declared the seizure null and void on technical grounds.
