The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry believes that cases of sexual harassment at the workplace are still very much under-reported.
Its deputy minister, Hannah Yeoh says less than 50 sexual harassment reports were lodged against civil servants between 2015 and last year.
Meanwhile in the private sector, only 15 cases were reported to Human Resources Ministry this year, compared with 24 for the whole of last year.
It's believed that many cases go unreported, either because of fear of reprisals, or because many victims aren't aware of their rights.
