Buses to be installed with diagnostic detecting devices
Oct 26, 2017
The Transport Ministry is looking at installing diagnostic detecting devices on all commercial vehicles, especially buses.
This is to track the driver's behavior and performance on the road, in a bid to prevent fatal road accidents.
The Ministry says most accidents tend to be caused by carelessness, or drivers who don't follow traffic rules.
The proposal comes in the wake of this week's fatal factory bus crash in Penang, which claimed the lives of eight people.
