Official Secrets Act does not protect child sexual crimes

Child sexual crime cases are not protected under the Official Secrets Act.
However, Minister in the PM's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman says the Child Act prohibits media outlets from reporting details that could lead to the identification of a child during any proceeding, regardless of whether they are the victims, witnesses or suspects.
She was responding to a question in Parliament, if there are any child sexual crime cases involving influential individuals, that are protected under the OSA.
