Pep Guardiola slams congested schedule in England

Jan 02, 2018

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has slammed the congested fixture schedule in England.

He says having to play so many matches within a short span of time is a disaster for the players, and has already resulted in City losing Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus to injury.

Both players will miss tomorrow morning's match against Watford, which is their fourth match in 11 days.

David Silva is another absentee, although Sergio Arguero could return to the starting lineup.

Catch City vs Watford LIVE on Astro Supersport 3 Channel 816 from 4am.
