Jan 03, 2018

And out of the 34 schools closed due to the floods, nearly half are in Pahang.

The state's Education Department Deputy Director Tajuddin Mohd Yunus says the disrupted school days are not expected to be replaced, but he needs to look into the matter further.

The other schools affected by the floods are in Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak.

While some 700 people are also displaced in Terengganu, Johor and Sabah.
