Hike in school supplies in Penang

The price of school supplies in Penang has gone up by 40 percent compared to last year.

The Penang Consumers Association says, the figure was recorded after checks were conducted on several premises around the state.

It adds that parents need to be smart in managing school necessities for their kids by reusing items that are still in good condition.
