Anwar Ibrahim is free at last

May 16, 2018

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has returned home following his royal pardon.

The de facto PKR leader expressed his gratitude to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for granting him a full and unconditional pardon.

Datuk Seri Anwar says his appeal against his imprisonment was due to a miscarriage of justice, and he did not have to sign any documents, because his conviction was erased completely.

He also assured he will fully support the government, so long as it remains committed to the reform agenda.
