Altantuya's father calls for justice to be served

The father of Mongolian model, Altantuya Sharibuu who was murdered in 2006, wants justice to be upheld following her assassination.

His lawyer, Ramkarpal Singh says they met with Attorney General Tommy Thomas earlier, and the meeting went well.

Ramkarpal adds if the murder investigation goes on smoothly, then there would not be a need to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry.

Meanwhile, he reiterated that Sirul Azhar, who was convicted of killing Altantuya, does not need to be brought back to Malaysia to investigate the motive behind the murder.

Altantuya's father is expected to meet Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad tomorrow at 5pm in Putrajaya.
