Sabah seats challenged

Jun 18, 2018

Nine petitions were filed at the Kota Kinabalu High Court to overturn wins by Barisan Nasional and State Reform Party in GE14.

WARISAN filed eight election petitions challenging the results of four parliamentary and four state seats, while another was filed by Sabah's PKR.

This includes the Sungai Sibuga state seat won by former Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman, the Kimanis parliamentary seat won by his brother, Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and the Keningau parliamentary seat won by Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

The party says it filed the petitions on grounds of money politics, postal vote rigging and late signing of electoral documents.
