The Prime Minister's Department will investigate reports that cleaners at the KL Court Complex have gone on strike because they've not been paid by the contractor.

Judges and staff claim they've have had to sweep the floors and clean the toilets themselves since May.

Deputy minister in charge of Law, Hanipa Maidin has asked for a written report on the matter and told the media, he's serious about taking action.

The government has reportedly already paid the contractor for a year's worth of cleaning.

HFMD

The government has ordered kindergartens, nurseries and pre-schools to screen children under their care to contain the spread of the hand, foot and mouth disease.

This comes as a 2-year-old boy is suspected to have died of the disease in Sarawak - making him the first victim of this year's outbreak.

Give Pakatan More Time

EPF believes the government needs more time to abolish toll collection, despite its manifesto promise to do so within 100 days.

The Fund's CEO says the abolishment process is very complicated, and the government has other financial priorities that need to be addressed.

"Keke" No More

You could be fined if you attempt the viral "keke challenge", especially if you endanger others and cause accidents on the road.

JPJ says it's looking into how to implement the fine, as more people are taking up the dangerous challenge.

The "Keke Challenge" requires people to jump out of a slowly moving car and dance.

Indonesian Tourist Island Rocked by Quake

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake has struck the popular tourist destination of Lombok, Indonesia, killing 10 people and damaging many buildings.

The major quake was also felt on the neighbouring island of Bali.

Mount Rinjani has also been temporarily closed in fears of landslides.
