Govt to sue Arul Kanda

The Pakatan govt is suing former 1MDB CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy for 2.5 million ringgit.
The sum is half of the 5 million ringgit wage awarded to him by the previous govt for half a year's work.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng says the Pakatan govt will not stand for it...
"Kita tidak luluskan bayaran 2.5 million dana juga kajikan tindakan lain supaya apa yang merugikan 1MDB kita pun boleh tuntut balik daripada Arul Kanda"
Guan Eng also said there's no proof to former PM Datuk Seri Najib Razak's claims that Arul Kanda earned 10 million per year prior to joining 1MDB.
Najib had justified the massive wage by saying Arul Kanda took a huge pay cut to join the investment fund.
