DSAI has officially assumed the post of PKR president!

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has officially assumed the post of PKR president, taking over from his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Anwar has been the party's de-facto leader for the past 11 years, but that position has now been abolished.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali retained his PKR Deputy President's post, defeating sole contender Rafizi Ramli.

The Pakatan Harapan leadership is waiting for the Election Commission to announce the Rantau by-election, before deciding on a candidate. 

The EC is waiting to see if any appeals are filed in court, over the Special Election Court's decision to call for a by-election.

The police are hunting down a driver who rammed into diners at a hawker centre in Serdang, Selangor last night, then drove away.

A person died and 4 others were injured in the incident.

The Transport Minister is encouraging taxi drivers to diversify their source of income and earn more by joining e-hailing services. 

This comes as more cabbies are protesting ride-hailing services and demanding the govt give them preferential treatment.

The Sabah Chief Minister has ordered all govt agencies, including GLCs, to return land belonging to the people. 

Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal says authorities should not abuse their power and take land that does not belong to them, as what has happened in Kunak.

And UTP has become the youngest university in M'sia to make it into the QS Top 50 Under 50 World University Ranking 2018.
