Selangor expects to save 100 million ringgit through its modified free water programme!

Instead of offering free water for all residents who use below 20 cubic meters per month, only the B40 who use below 25 cubic metres will get free water from next year. 

The state MB expects to implement the programme by April next year.

Separately, the Selangor govt will come up with a solution to the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple issue next week.

MB Amirudin Shari said the public is also welcome to submit proposals on how to solve the relocation issue, but must ensure they respect the rule of the law.

And a student in Taiwan went to the police to demand an expensive DNA test, to find out who stole her yogurt drink!

Suprisingly, the police agreed and spent about 2,500 ringgit in taxpayer money on the case, and found that it was the student's housemate who committed the crime. 

Taxpayers are not impressed, calling it a waste of money.
