Petrol stations will not run dry next month!

The govt has slammed such rumours, saying there will always be sufficient supply of gasoline and diesel for sale as they are controled items under the law.

Bumiputera Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia had claimed there will be a shortage next year, as petrol station operators are not willing to increase storage in their tanks. 

This comes as the govt announced RON 95 will be placed on a weekly float system from next Tuesday amid the change in global oil prices.

Socso paid out close to 94 million ringgit in compensation for commuting accidents between January and October this year. 

The amount was for temporary disability benefits that averaged out to about 3,700 ringgit per person.
