Police say Papagomo and Syed Saddiq clash a misunderstanding

"It was just a misunderstanding", is what police are saying about the incident between controversial blogger Papagomo and the Youth and Sports Minister.

Syed Saddiq had accused Papagomo of holding him in a headlock during an incident last week, but the blogger insists it was just a hug.

The UMNO man has since been released on bail, but Syed has said he will not withdraw his police report.

Wan Azizah and Tun M start discussing Sirul Azhar's fate

The Deputy Prime Minister is discussing the deportation of Sirul Azhar Umar with the Prime Minister.  

This comes after an Australian court rejected the former police officer's political asylum bid.

But he won't be allowed to return to Malaysia, as long as the death sentence remains.

Sirul fled Malaysia a few years ago, after being sentenced to death for murdering Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Johor couple nabbed for abusing child

A couple in Johor have been arrested for abusing their 12-year-old son for the past two years. 

The boy is the stepson of the man, while the couple have another two young children together. 

The victim was not registered at birth and does not attend school.
