PM says no need for state of emergency in Pasir Gudang

There is no need for a state of emergency to be declared in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said everything is under control and he has full faith authorities will be able to handle the situation.
This comes as the number of those affected by the chemical pollution at Sungai Kim Kim rose to almost 2,800 people.
The Education Ministry has promised all students affected will have their medical bills fully compensated.
Singapore authorities have also confirmed the spill in Johor has not reached our neighbours' waters.

EC to review redelineation of GE14 electoral boundaries

The Election Commission is studying the redelineation of electoral boundaries, carried out by the previous Basrisan Nasional government right before GE14.
It says it wants to see if the redrawing of boundaries was carried out fairly and within the law.

Securities Commission present Goldman Sachs with show-cause letter
