No custom number plates!

The Transport Ministry will not issue personalised vehicle registration plates. 

Minister Anthony Loke said there are too many complications that could arise, including enforcement and overlapping names. 

NGOs have also been barred from commissioning special number plates to raise funds.

Tun M warns EU over palm oil ban

The government has written to almost all EU countries about their plans to discontinue palm oil.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says the government has warned the EU, Malaysia will have to retaliate if the palm oil ban continues. 

Malaysia is the second-biggest producer of palm oil in the world.

MOH to look into toxic fumes side effects on Sungai Kim Kim victims

The Sungai Kim Kim clean-up might be over, but the people affected by the toxic fumes will not be abandoned. 

The Health Ministry says its focus is now on the victims and possible long-term effects to their health. 

Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the concerns include cancer and effects on the reproductive system.
